ENERGY SURVEY AND ESOS
Where companies are looking to reduce their energy consumption, carbon emissions and are seeking guidance or verification, we can assist by conducting a tailored energy survey. Our energy surveys are compatible for businesses of any size and industry sector. We provide an informative way to understand current site energy profiles and identify any potential energy saving opportunities, renewable energy projects and power generation projects.
Our experienced Energy Managers undertake a high level preliminary energy survey (at no cost or obligation). The non-intrusive survey will take around two hours, without interruption to site activities. Post survey, we highlight potential energy saving projects and carbon reduction opportunities for development whilst paving the way for a viable route to carbon neutrality and Net Zero.
Energy Saving Opportunity Scheme (ESOS)
ESOS is a mandatory energy assessment scheme that is conducted every four years, with 5th December 2023 being the next deadline. As a year’s worth of data is required for compliance, our recommendation is booking an ESOS audit no later than 30th September 2023, to ensure deadlines are met with a comprehensive report.
Our qualified ESOS Lead Assessors guide companies through the process from start to finish, collating the necessary evidence to prepare and submit the report on behalf of companies and to avoid potential penalties.
To qualify for ESOS, your company must:
- Employ 250 or more people
OR
- Have an annual group turnover exceeding £44 million, and an annual balance sheet total in excess of £38 million
